About Julien Boubennec :
Born in 1984 in Courbevoie, Julien Boubennec is an accomplished self-taught multi-technique artist. He creates spontaneously, aiming to rediscover the incredibly fascinating creative freedom reminiscent of childhood, without conforming to the confines of standard academic practices. Julien expresses himself through captivating black-and-white linocuts and vibrant acrylic canvases, which are composed of imaginative shapes and intriguing characters. His work draws on a wide range of diverse influences, including street art, pop art, and comic strips. This talented former gourmet chef made the decision to step down in 2019 to devote himself fully to following his passion for the visual arts. He has chosen the bustling streets as his playground in both France and Europe for showcasing his work, and he is collaborating with various partners such as Association Pompiers Raid Aventure, Paris Drouot auctions, Hôtel Pullman Tour Eiffel, and many others. Now based in the picturesque region of Creuse, he is developing exciting new projects that are as far-reaching as they are varied.
